Product Description

CEFURODEL-500: Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg Tablets are a broad-spectrum oral antibiotic belonging to the second-generation cephalosporin class. They are used to treat a variety of bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of susceptible bacteria.

Cefuroxime Axetil is rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and converted into active cefuroxime, providing effective systemic antibacterial action. It is ideal for managing infections of the respiratory tract, skin, urinary tract, and other susceptible sites.

Uses / Indications

Cefuroxime Axetil 500 mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of:

  • Respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)

  • Ear, nose, and throat infections (otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
  • Gonorrhea (uncomplicated cases)
